MARTHA EHMANN CONTE

Martha is an active philanthropist and civic leader based in San Francisco, California.  She serves on the Boards and Committees of numerous non-profit organizations including the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, and the Exploratorium. She supports and works with non-profits such as the National Partnership for Women and Families and the Center for Reproductive Rights, and has co-founded a giving circle to help create better opportunities for women and girls. Recently, she also co-founded a Political Action Committee to find and support center-right Republican women to run for federal elected office.


Professionally, Martha is an independent marketing and brand strategy executive, previously at Prophet Brand Strategy and Ogilvy & Mather, working with clients from Procter & Gamble and American Express to Hewlett Packard and Gilead Sciences.  As an angel investor, she draws on her civic and professional experience to assist with marketing and positioning support for her investments.  Example investments include: Glympse Bio, a technology platform of non-invasive diagnostic agents for predictive monitoring of human diseases; Support Pay, the world’s leading automated child support payment platform; and Owlet Care, a product line of monitors and data tracking for newborn health and safety.  She earned an AB in Economics from Princeton University and is the mother of four children.
